Athento allows you to edit the layout of the fields of a form through a graphical editor in which you can reorder the fields or change their size.
In order to use this functionality, the instance must have the setting ENABLE_DOCUMENT_TYPE_LAYOUT enabled.
In this way, when accessing the configuration of the fields of a form you can see the Edit layout button that appears above the fields.
When you click on that button, the editor will open in a new tab.
Here you can view the different fields of the form, grouped by category. Those that do not have a category are displayed at the end. The categories keep their order as shown in the document view and cannot be reordered. The fields can be reordered within their own category, meaning they cannot be moved to a different category.
To reorder a field, just click on it and drag it to the desired position within its category or section. When you move the mouse over a field you will see that the cursor turns into a hand, indicating that it is possible to drag the field.
Likewise, it is possible to change the size of a field. To do this you must drag with the mouse the lower right corner of the field. It is possible to make a field occupy the full width of the view, or half.
At the end, you must click the Save button located at the top right to save the changes made. In case you want to start over, you can click the Discard changes button located right next to it.
